Contact Plabric
Plabric is a small, independent, ad-supported site — there is no call centre and no ticket queue, but a real person reads what comes in to support@plabric.com.
A few things this address is genuinely useful for: a calculator that gave you a result you think is wrong (say which tool — the fabric weight converter, fabric weight from dimensions, yarn count converter, fabric yardage calculator, thread count calculator, or fabric shrinkage calculator — and the numbers you entered); a tool or a textile topic you wish the site covered; an out-of-date fact or broken link in the blog, learn section, or the Museum of Fabric; or a bug in how a page looks or behaves on your device.
There’s no fixed response time to promise, and no live chat — email is read and handled as it comes in. If your question is really about a specification your product has to meet, a compliance requirement, or a testing standard, an accredited textile laboratory or a technologist who can handle the actual fabric will give a far better answer than this site can. Plabric’s tools produce educational estimates, not professional testing or engineering advice, and the site isn’t affiliated with any fabric, fibre, or equipment brand.
Before writing in about a tool result, it’s worth double-checking the figures you entered — a units mix-up between GSM and ounces, a denier entered where tex belongs, or a width measured in inches instead of centimetres is the most common source of a surprising answer. If it still looks wrong after that, that’s exactly the kind of message worth sending.
